In Loving Memory of Janice Marie Denihan, (née Collise, also spelled Collisi), age 87, of Mentor, Ohio, who passed away January 22, 2026, at Western Reserve Hospice in Cleveland, Ohio. Born January 29, 1938, in Cleveland, Ohio, Janice was preceded in death by her parents, Arthur and Leola Collisi; her brother, James Collisi; and her infant children, Joseph Denihan, Mary Denihan, and John Denihan. Janice graduated from Villa Angela High School in 1956 and from The Frances Payne Bolton School of Nursing at Western Reserve in 1960. She was a devoted Catholic whose faith guided her throughout her life. A registered nurse for many years, she cared for others with compassion and steadiness. She worked tirelessly while raising her family, sacrificing often so her children could attend Catholic schools—something that meant the world to her. Her greatest pride was her grandchildren, and she followed their lives and activities closely, cheering them on and celebrating every milestone. She loved animals, Cleveland sports, and often shared stories from her younger years—including having a horse while growing up. She is survived by her children: Patrick (Pamela) of Mentor, Timothy of Lakewood, Daniel of Willowick, Michael of Parma Heights, Christopher of Dublin, and Kathleen Amiott (Tom) of Mentor; and her nine grandchildren: Sean, Kevin (fiancée, Kaitlin), Kyle (Samantha), Kaitlin, Fiona, Jack, Tommy, Bridget, and Joey. She is also survived by Robert Denihan of Orwell, with whom she shared her children.
